Introduction
This Cancellation & Refund Policy ("Policy") governs the cancellation and refund procedures for services provided by MYSARA VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED ("Mysa", "we", "us", or "our"). By using our services, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to the terms outlined in this Policy.
This Policy applies to all services provided by Mysa, including but not limited to premium subscriptions, in-app purchases, profile boosts, and other paid features available on our platform.
Cancellation Policy
User-Initiated Cancellation
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through the app settings or by contacting our support team. The cancellation will be effective at the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation Terms
- Monthly Subscriptions: Can be cancelled anytime. Access continues until the end of the current billing month.
- Annual Subscriptions: Can be cancelled anytime. Access continues until the end of the subscription year.
- Free Trial: Must be cancelled before the trial period ends to avoid being charged.
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Mysa-Initiated Cancellation
Mysa reserves the right to cancel or suspend your account in the following circumstances:
- Violation of our Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Fraudulent or illegal activities
- Creating fake profiles or impersonating others
- Harassment or abusive behavior towards other users
- Non-payment of subscription fees
- Any activity that threatens the safety of our community
In case of account termination due to policy violations, no refund will be provided for any remaining subscription period.
Refund Policy
Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be considered under the following circumstances:
- Request made within 7 days of initial subscription purchase (first-time subscribers only)
- Technical issues that prevented access to premium features for an extended period
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
- Service unavailability due to Mysa's technical failures
Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable:
- Subscriptions after the 7-day refund window has passed
- In-app purchases such as profile boosts, super likes, or virtual gifts once used
- Partially used subscription periods
- Accounts terminated due to Terms of Service violations
- Subscription renewals (only initial purchases are eligible for refund)
- Dissatisfaction with matches or dating outcomes
Refund Processing
If a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days from the date of approval
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the transaction
- Your bank or payment provider may take additional time (5-10 business days) to reflect the refund
- For UPI payments, refunds will be credited to the same UPI ID
- Processing fees charged by payment gateways are non-refundable
Premium Subscriptions
For premium subscription plans:
- First-time subscribers may request a refund within 7 days of purchase
- Refunds are prorated based on unused days only for technical issues on our end
- Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund
- Premium features remain active until the end of the paid period after cancellation
- Upgrading to a higher plan mid-cycle will be prorated
- Downgrading takes effect at the next billing cycle
In-App Purchases
For one-time in-app purchases:
- Profile boosts, super likes, and similar features are non-refundable once activated
- Unused purchased items may be eligible for refund within 48 hours of purchase
- Virtual currency or coins are non-refundable
- Technical issues preventing use of purchased items will be resolved with replacement credits or refund
App Store Purchases
For purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play Store:
- Refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple or Google
- Apple and Google have their own refund policies which will apply
- We cannot process refunds for purchases made through app stores
- Subscription management (cancellation) should be done through the respective app store
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Email us at contactus@trymysa.in with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your registered email address or phone number
- Provide the date and amount of the transaction
- Include the transaction ID or payment receipt
- Explain the reason for your refund request
Our support team will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
Dispute Resolution
In case of any disputes regarding cancellation or refund:
- Contact us at contactus@trymysa.in with detailed information about the dispute
- We will review the case and respond within 5-7 business days
- If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India
- Both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action
Changes to This Policy
Mysa reserves the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or app. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Policy.
For existing subscriptions, the Policy in effect at the time of purchase will apply unless both parties agree to adopt the updated Policy.
